Why This Stuff:
I woke up on my sixtieth birthday and could not believe how different my life was than the stereotypes we’ve been handed. My kids were grown and fledged, I had lovers and a successful career, and my health was great. I started writing about the vibrant lives we really live to push back on the nonsense peddled by the culture.
I’m a writer and a bionerd with a background in biotech and finance, and I helped invent Elderotica in my sixties, so my essays range across topics of interest to Women of a Certain Age. I’m also super interested in supporting other women on their creative journeys.
